Two orders for the same print sent out and received this week. Some background to the print:
The photograph was taken on a particularly rough day at one of the largest regattas in the Mediterranean, the Voiles de Saint Tropez. Over 300 boats usually take part but on this day, only a handful of the bigger boats were allowed to race. As one of the largest regattas, there are also nearly a hundred press photographers attending, but again, only 4 press boats were allowed out and I was fortunate enough to be on one. Conditions were very wet and tricky with the bouncing of the RIB but the ride also offered great photographic opportunities to capture the action. The boat, Shamrock V is one of the original J Class boats. She was built in 1930 for Sir Thomas Lipton to compete in the America’s Cup and is the only remaining J Class built in wood. She is nearly 100 tons and120 feet long. In 2015 I was again fortunate enough to be invited aboard to photograph the action during a days’ racing and I was pleased to present Marty, the bowman in your picture, with a copy of the picture you have. Whilst on board I also took a fun video to provide an impression of what it is like. You can view it on my Instagram feed

(As I say, I am a photographer not a videographer – just a bit of fun!)
The prints themselves, one was large over 100cm wide and the other small but ideal for home, being 35cm wide. Both were colour although black and white is also available.
"Print arrived this morning... looks great, I am sure that my son is going to be delighted."
